![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I don't think it's a scam but I'd be interested to see if it does more than empty the Recycle Bin and do a quick defrag, the "grime" that slows your system down is left conspicuously undefined. The vast majority of users won't use/don't need it and I really haven't seen much indication of Grime Fighter actually being that effective in what it allegedly does. They have extra software you can install. This personally chaps my ass quite a bit because they didn't used to do this and it can get very irritating. It's more than a bit naggy and they push other software and upgrades like mad. I use Avast and MalwareBytes in conjunction with smart(ish) browsing habits and I've yet to suffer a serious infection since I began using that particular combination. It doesn't impact your system heavily and doesn't make a nuisance of itself provided you set things up right. In terms of sheer effectiveness, it's the best performer I've seen thus far. Avast is (generally) my go-to when I set up a system for people. ![]()
